However the Republican race is decided, the fall presidential campaign promises to be extraordinarily combative. Republicans are vehement in their belief that President Obama has used the economic crisis as an excuse to pull the U.S. toward what many of them feel is “socialism.” Democrats believe Obama has done his best to rescue the country from the financial crises he inherited from George W. Bush, and are committed to keeping the Republicans out. What will the weapons of the fall campaign be?
