The renowned novelist Jonathan Safran Foer is returning October 14th, 8pm - 9.30pm to the John Adams with one of the most highly anticipated books of the year. Here I Am is Foer’s third novel, after Everything is Illuminated and Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close. The story focuses on an American Jewish family which is falling apart in a moment of crisis. The story is set against the broader backdrop of political instability and natural disaster in the Middle East. At stake is the meaning of home—and the fundamental question of how much aliveness one can bear.

Jonathan Safran Foer has once again written a work of extraordinary scope and heartbreaking intimacy. Join us for an evening in Paradiso with one of the best writers of America.
