How do I find a book?

On the top of every page you can find a search bar; enter your search term and click on the "Zoek" (search) button. Make sure that you are searching in the "In webwinkel" segment, and not in "In recensies & artikelen" (our Dutch editorial items). When you're using specific search terms, you can use the advanced search feature "Uitgebreid zoeken". If you can't find a product, we are happy to help! You can call your preferred store or contact us via our 'Contact Us' page.

 

How do I order a book?

When you find a book or magazine you're interested in, you can add it to your cart by clicking the 'Bestel' button.

  1. Added to your cart. You can continue shopping (‘Verder winkelen’) or checkout your order (‘Ga naar winkelwagen’).
  2. Cart. Here you can edit and delete products from your order. Any promotion codes you might have can be entered here too. Afterwards, you can continue to finalize your payment .
  3. Contact details. Who are you? If you're an existing customer you're able to log in with your email address and password. To process your order, you have to register with us once. If you're already logged in, you will automatically continue to step four.
  4. Delivery. Do you want your order to be delivered at home or do you want to pick it up in one of our stores?
  5. Payment. How do you want to pay? We accept payments made via iDEAL or creditcard through our payment service provider Buckaroo. In-store pick up or reservation is free.

 

How do I pay?

We accept payments via:

  • Creditcard (Visa, Mastercard). After you have entered your details via Buckaroo's protected environment, we make sure your order is finalized.
  • iDEAL. With iDEAL you can pay for your order through the protected digital environment of your own bank.
  • Paypal. PayPal is the safer, easier way to pay online without revealing your credit card number.
  • Boekenbon voucher: You can pay with your digital boekenbon voucher on the website. (You can't pay with your physical boekenbon on the internet). During the payment process you select 'Boekenbon' as your payment option.

    You will be prompted to enter the 19-digit card number and the 6-digit PIN code found on the back of the card.

    If you pay with the new boekenbon, the to be paid amount will be subtracted from the credit on your card. The remaining credit will stay on your card for your next purchase.

    Is the credit on your card too low for your desired purchase? No problem, you can easily pay the extra amount via iDEAL. Select the ‘Confirm payment’ option on the overview page to pay for the remaining amount. This will trigger the iDEAL-module.

    N.B. In case you return your order, and thus credit must be added to your boekenbon, it is important for you to know your card number and PIN code. Please save your boekenbon after you finalized your order.
Do I need to pay shipping costs?

Until January 1sth 2018, all purchases are delivered for free within The Netherlands. For our textbook service other shipping costs apply.

International delivery costs vary per country:

  • Belgium: € 7,65
  • Germany: € 7,25
  • France and United Kingdom: € 13,50
  • Luxembourg: € 9,95
  • Ireland: € 35,-
  • All other European deliveries are within the range of the above mentioned prices.
  • Orders outside of Europe vary between € 30,- (USA, Canada) and € 40,- (Japan).

Naturally, there are no delivery costs for in-store pickups or our ebooks. For more information please contact us.
