Debutant Lisa McInerney wint Baileys Women's Prize 2016

The Baileys Women's Prize for Fiction (eerder The Orange Prize for Fiction) wordt jaarlijks uitgereikt aan de beste door een vrouw geschreven roman. De afgelopen jaren wonnen Ali Smith (2015), Eimear McBride (2014), A.M. Homes (2013), Madeline Miller (2012), Téa Obreht (2011), Barbara Kingsolver (2010), Marilynne Robinson, Zadie Smith, Lionel Shriver en Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.
