Oxford-Weidenfeld Translation Prize voor Philip Roughton én Paul Vincent & John Irons
13 juni 2016De Oxford-Weidenfeld Translation Prize 2016 gaat dit jaar naar Philip Roughton (voor zijn Jón Kalman Stefánsson-vertaling) én Paul Vincent & John Irons (voor 100 Dutch-Language Poems). Dat werd zaterdag bekendgemaakt - maar niet op de officiële site.
De Oxford-Weidenfeld Prize is 'for book-length literary translations into English from any living European language. It aims to honour the craft of translation, and to recognise its cultural importance'. Genomineerd dit jaar waren:
- Paul Vincent en John Irons voor 100 Dutch-Language Poems
